Vietnam is a country which has been influenced by Chinese, French, Thai, and Americans. The culture of Vietnam can be well understood by its cuisine. Some of Vietnamese famous dishes are Pho Bo (Traditional Beef Soup Noodle) and Goi Cuon (Cold Roll).

Pho Bo is a thin sliced beef soup served with rice noodle. The presentation usually served with plate of coriander leaves, bean sprouts, sliced chilli, and sliced lemon. The beef can also be served half cooked. The soup taste very rich of beef stock with traditional simple ingredients.

While waiting for your main dishes, you can try Goi Cuon a traditional Vietnamese cold roll. This is type of spring roll that is served fresh. The wrapping are made from rice flour. The fillings are consisted prawn, lettuce, corriander, bee hoon (vermicelli). Goi Cuon served with hoi sin sauce with crunched peanut on it.

You can also try Vietnamese Style Coffee. Vietnamese Coffee comes very strong. It is served on glass with condensed milk and ice. The coffee is put on the glass with stainless made filter. Pure coffee will drop from the filter to mix with condensed milk and ice.

Dress code: CasualPempek (also known as Mpek-Mpek) is a traditional Indonesian food that is originaly coming from South Sumatra particularly in Palembang area. Pempek is made from seawater fish called Tenggiri (Scomberomorus commerson). The same fish is also used to make fish cracker, siew may, otak-otak, and meat ball. Tenggiri fish is
also classified in the same family with Tuna and Mackerel fish.

Pempek is served in various ways such as traditional fried, egg fried, soup,and grilled (indonesian: bakar). Commonly, pempek has various shape such as kapal selam (english: submarine, with egg in the middle), lenjer (thin sliced and fried with eggs), bawang (mixed with crushed garlic), and keriting (english: curly). Traditionally, pempek are fried and served with sliced of cucumber, spread of crushed dry shrimp (indonesian: ebi), black sauce that made from vinegar and brown sugar. However, nowadays lot of new way to serve this food such as in bakar (grilled) and soup that is called tekwan (thin sliced served with ear mushroom) or model (served with tofu and sliced cucumber). 

Beside of Pempek, this restaurant also serves great Pindang Patin. Patin (Pangasius hypophthalmus) is species of water fish that originally lives in the river. Patin is boiled with various herbs, spices with pineapple and young tomato which produce great fresh taste.

Pyongyang is a capital and biggest city in the Demoractic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which also commonly known as North Korea. Pyongyang restaurant offers various authentic North Korean foods. Some of common foods are mostly similar with South Korean cuisine such as Japchae (jabchae, chapcae), Tteokbokki (Ddeokokki), grilled meat/pork, with Banchan (small Korean style dishes) served as side dishes of main course food.

Japchae is a Korean traditional food made consists of Korean glass noodle that is stir fried in sesame oil with various vegetables (usually in form of thin slices of veggies), thin sliced seafood (shrimp and squid) and flavoured with Korean traditional soy sauce. In presentation, japchae is garnished with sesame seeds on top.

Tteokbokki (also pronounce as Topokki) is one of popular Korean snack food that made from rice flour (rice cake). Tteokbokki is cooked with red sauce made from traditional ingredients, sliced green chili, and sliced onion. The sauce tastes a bit spicy, but the Tteokbokki tastes a bit salty.

Banchan in Pyongyang consist of various small dishes such as spinach with sesame, kimchi, mushroom, and crispy bean curd.

Various grilled meat are usually served with green lettuce, thin sliced garlic and green chilli. The way we enjoy this grilled meat are by wrap it inside the lettuce, put garlic and chilli, and put some sauce on the meat. Close the wrapping and enjoy the meat taste combined with fresh veggies.
